Mate - how annoying. She's a bloody deep tank though. There must be some extreme pressure at the bottom.

So close, never mind it really doesn't look that much of a problem, good luck with the fix.

it may not be such an easy fix as you think it may mean removing the acrylic and starting again

glass fibre long term will not bond 100% to acrylic

if you need a hand give me a ring mate

spent some time in the tank this evening, looking over the sealant around the acrylic, it has bonded really well to the fibre glass, cant peel it off at all, although on the acrylic it self there are areas where it can be peeled back a bit, have to admit we only roughly sanded the acrylic and i'm wondering if this is the problem, i'm gonna cut all the sealant off and really thoroughly sand the front panel, make sure it's done enough this time, re seal and see what happens.

on a happier note, got the top brace/light housing tonight, it's not fitted but looks good i think, will reflect the light really well too.

Maybe a coat of liquid rubber would solve the problem?

So... you had it nearly full. Any bowing on the 1" acrylic before you drained it?
had it totally full, water overflowing into the filter. held a four foot level on the front panel, evenly there was about 5mm between top and bottom of the level with the front panel so not a drastic amount of bowing at all.

old sealant cut out and removed now, i used an orbital sander to sand the panel and the surrounding fibre glass, then re sealed it all thoroughly yesterday and applied plenty of fibreglass resin/gel coat tonight along with approx. 30 metres of fibre glass matting tape all over the joint, covering about 8 inches width over all, using sealant and fibreglass as a double effort. doesn't look like it will leak at all now, just got to wait for it to cure for a few days before test filling again.
