depends on speciman 100%, snakeheads have the teath, but bowfins will bash the **** out things so hard? i've had red snakeheads that are complete pussys.. my two now are moderately tame, smaller fish will meet a quick brutall demise thou... my Marulius would murder a equal size bowfin... but its down to lucky they are equal opponents if it ever happened... id say 70% of the time it would be the sh who kicked it off thou.... 20% aggy bowfin, 10% retard bowfin who thinks the sh is another bowfin....

are these bowfin similiar to the bowfin that are found in the fresh water great lakes?

anoher strong word of cation u'll need to seperate them ALL except for breeding my two males are were very odd in that they coexisted in such a small setup with out much fuss, they hate othe bowfin generally and only come together in season... i've know pairs of male and female to work in a 5x2x2.5 but never any young produced from them....

ok interesting...so I would need lots of decent sized tanks and not just one BIG one
