probably? its sticky u could try setting up a 5x2x2, putting a small sexed pair in it, raising them to around 14" putting them in a pond indoor or out and seeing what happened? it may well be successful... adding more fish increases he chances of success but also aggression, if you want them to coexist they must be babies and always stay together even then... dodgy....

but they are Asian...bowfin are from the USA so their arteries have evolved to handle that kind of grease fat. The poor Asian SH would never survive.

bowfin fight harder than anything in fresh water as far as size goes. They fighh hard as hell.

I was fishing for bass using big ass bream for bait.
