I think I am going to try to breed bowfin for one of my projects. So if I had like 3 large tubs for like one male and one female each to live in and then one larger pond for when they are in breeding season...should that work?

i'd tank a male, for show/project, set u tubs as ponds say
3x 4' round for males, have a 8-12' breeding pond and try to get the a pair of females to coexist there... but is a pace thing, i think it could work your way, just a case a trial and error till u hit the perfect setup... post in native Poly said members do it so they'd no a lot more than me...

gotchya...ill have to give it a shot! The fish are free here so...shouldnt be a problem
