By now you've probably heard that you shouldn't use windex or the usual glass cleaners with acrylic. Using a special cleaning product specially for acrylics is best. This might remove the frost. Brasso or a silver cleaning might work too.

Sorry I missed your post. I know this is for glass but parts of it are usable :D Just don't burn the plastic http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=523881#post523881

The cerium oxide is 50k, way finer than brasso, then there's the diamond power, hope you can get the chemicals out, dish soap, vinegar and lots and lots of water.

Where'd you score the tank from?

Can't wait to see the results.

Good luck.

Youv'e got to buff it:) And you went all different ways while sanding.. When you are wet sanding anything it is best to go back and forth or up and down .. NOT bach forth up and down all together.. ONE or the OTHER.. MY Brother told me this and i listened and it paid off.. :)

:) You need some acceptance and with that will come, patience my friend. Aceept the fact this is not a one hour power fix:). Did you read how long it took me to get mine where it is... I burned a buffing wheel it took so long.. LOL..

I'm telling you buff.. Not just brasso step by step not skip a step.. :) You'll get it.. Just empty it and do it right, and in order :) you'll get it, it might be a week or three but time taken to do something right in this area of the hobby is well worth the pay off in the end :)

So take it back a couple notches and do it right.. :) I also stated who helped me with suggestions on how they did it and how i should do it.. I didn't use compound cause i had ill effects well not very much compound..

PM people that you know have the answers.. Trust me it's worth it :)
