acrylic scratch removal

still some haze to get rid of.
still a few scratches but im done.
if anyone says anything i will say thats why i got it for a hundred bucks. lol

palm sander with 600 grit wet/dry paper
palm with 1000 grit
palm with 2000 grit
then hand sanded with the 2000
then polish

bought some meguiars #10 clear plastic polish.
good stuff that is.heres some more pics.
i made some smudges when i carried it in on my own :irked:
i didnt sand the bottom,going to put in rocks.
but you can see how much better it is.
man,acrylic sucks.fingerprints,smudges,all show to good.

good job man, i gotta do the same thing on 2 of my used tanks, $50 35-40 gallon bowfront acrylic with silicone on it, and a free 55gal with scratches from those magnet glass cleaners.. only prob is i dont wanna deal with the 55 its only got an annoying scratch on the right side of the tank and is currently full of fish and water and now i want the tank looking better =\ oh well
