I believe so because most of the time exporters label them as vittatus and they aren’t

Я так считаю, потому что в большинстве случаев экспортеры маркируют их как vittatus, а они не

Hi A Artem78 , please post in English on the forum. Not many people here understand Eastern European languages.

Hi community,
i am looking for information that i havent found anywhere (i hope i am not too blind for that). Should ATFs be kept in groups or alone?
So in my case, im currently building a tank (118"x45"x35", about 800 Gal). Im quite not hundred percent sure yet in case of stock, but ATF is one of my favorite.
But i dont plan a Gatf, too big for this tank.
Thanks, Fabian ?

They are best to keep alone because they are none to attack other fish that look like them. I’ve seen many cases where people house more then one. I believe someone told me they work better tiger in group of 5 or more. Some how forskalii and I believe eye doesn’t do well with other no matter the size. Really depends on which one. Vittatous might be the only one that does well together. Because they still will chase each other from time to time. Dither fish helps a lot.3-5 fish to every atf

Thanks guys. :)

Miguel, to put it in marine tank terminology, you're looking for laminar flow. I have laminar from right to left at the top and left to right at the bottom. It creates a big gyre that keeps anything from settling on the bottom and gives the fish a current to swim in. Makes it damn near impossible to have a nice looking substrate though. :nono: lol
Okay I’ve noticed these yellow tips on my tiger fish Lower fins. Do you think they are vittatus still
