I think Loves severums is trying to say you can get blue from a JD or EBJD. Just because it shows blue does not mean it has the double dose of blue the EBJD carries. It would be interesting to have bred two siblings together of this cross to see the variation in the 2nd generation. It is possible that it could produce some fish that have a lot more blue.

update on my fish from the start of this thread now 12"
EBJD gene(father) x Jaguar(mother)

that is what I'm tyring to say if you look at the original pic from page 2 the body looks more jd then syn, at least to me.
