Yup that seems to be correct I did a few water changes and scrubbed the glass and it's gone.

Now I have a next problem, there is a bunch of tiny white worms in the tank, floating in the water column, it looks like dust in the tank but they are wriggling.

What medication do I need for this?

If they are detritus worms you don't kill them. They're a part of your tanks ecosystem. The fact you're seeing so many may indicate that you are indeed feeding too much or not removing enough waste from the system periodically with water changes and gravel vac if needed. I would only ever actually see lots of detritus worms in my heaviest stocked tanks where there were no small fish to get them. I've never seen them in my loach tank as I believe they are a popular menu item.

OK perfect, as long as they won't affect the fish. I think i am definitely feeding too much!

Hey, i need a bit more advice.

I did a full flush of my tank, I transfered my fish to a quarantine tank, emptied everything, washed out my canister and I still have these white worms..

My tank is bare bottom...

Please help

Well like I said if they are detritus worms there's no need to take any drastic action. They're harmless, beneficial little creatures actually. Not worth the effort to try and exterminate just for aesthetic purposes imo. Indeed you may actually be doing more harm than good moving the fish around so much.

Come to think of it I used to see a lot more detritus worms when I had canisters. Seems to me they worked fine as long as they were clean but I had problems keeping water quality consistent with cans, not a big fan myself.
