Great looking exhibit! Its a little sad, the native fish were my favorite exhibit, but this one looks really cool and interesting too. Are all the native fish moving to a different location in the aquarium, or are they out of there all together?

This is so interesting, I work at the mall, and I love fish and I didn't even know that the exhibit had been changed. Looks like you've done some great work, so I'll have to go check it out as soon as I can!

Don't worry, all the gar are still here. They now live in Fishermans Hollow.
Here are some updated pics I jus took. It's really looking good! Starting to plan the arapaima move. Hopefully it will go out in the next week or so.

Wow, very nice! I was there for NYE 2006 with the (ex) girlfriend. I was impressed then. I like the Amazon setup waaaay better than the Mississippi setup. I guess I'll have to come back up, sans (ex) girlfriend, and check it out again. Thanks for the update!

I wanted to mention that yesterday I took Nicky (UnderwaterGirl) in for the first time. I even got her to hand feed our adult rip saw catfish (Megalodoras irwini)! She did a great job, and I'm very proud of her! (Plus now I can hand off my daily 2PM dive to her every now and then so I can sit at my desk and slack off!)
Maybe someday you will actually slack off and LET ME in instead of you always diving it.

I decided it was time for me and the 'pima to do our photo shoot. I know matt has more pics, but this is the one he sent me. Matt, you should post more. Therefore, enjoy me and my baby....I think we are naming him Scrappy.
