Nice pics Matt! Its been awhile since I last saw the Amazong exhibit. My girlfriend has yet to see it. And I need to bring my camera since the last time I went I was using my old crappy Nikon digi cam.

Got two new animals in today for this project. Not going to see display for about a year, though. I think you'll agree they are a little too special to toss out as pups. I"ll let these two grow up in holding for awhile.

isn´t there a possibility for you as Zoo to get Stingrays from Brasil for "Scientist work........" or so?

We can't get anything you guys can't....at least from the wild. I do get to work within the zoo/aquarium world to trade off stuff though. Believe it or not, these leo pups are a trade for captive bred sea horses and some future favors!
The other rays are doing well. I'm still looking for a male tiger to go with my big female.

You traded seahorses for sting rays? Were you holding a gun?

The wife and the females in the fam are suppose to go shopping at the MOA soon. It will be for three days. If I tag a long do you think I could get a back stage tour while they shop????

Nope all of my alligator gar are in the 220,000 native tank. And they don't predator at all.
They guy in the pic is my baby arapaima gigas. He doesn't munch on too much either. He comes over to his feeding spot daily and gets more or less hand fed.
