Just picked some more xanthic sagittaes from Open Water Predator, they are all strong, thick, and healthy looking. He is in Cincinnati, so I simply just drove down there. Great cichlid guy, he has many more gallons of CA/SA cichlids than I do, and they have massive size, very impressive. You should see the indoor pond he is building, it is sick, you could swim in that bad boy once it's up and running. Big Umbees, Doviis, and Haitensis are the highlights of his collection, spectacular!

Anyway, I have 3 new sagittaes swimming around in my 150, in addition to the one I already had. I think I might have 3 males and 1 female, a situation that could turn explosive, got to keep an eye on thst. These fish are all around the seven inch range. The one with the black spots on her face I think might be a female because her fins are more noticeably rounded off than the fins of the others in there.

The video got fuzzy, The battery on my camera is almost dead. I'll try uploading some more pics and vids that will hopefully be better, but for now here is the first video.

Nice collection. Maybe you'll end up with a breeding pair.
Agreed 100%. Very nice group. I can almost guarentee that the two on the right will become a pair. This Video is going up on the "Amphilophus Connection" FB page.

Thanks, I hope so. So far there doesn't seem to be any interest between any of them for breeding, but it's very early.

That would be a nice looking pair, I hope you are right. Thanks for putting the video up at Amphilophus Connection.

Thanks, you did a nice job raising them up. I'll try to post some pics here today or tonight.

Here is a group shot, the only pic I got with all 4 in it.

Here is the one I think is female, with the more rounded fins, and the black spots on her face. The one in the lower left is my original one, he has a little bit of orange in his fins.

Just saw some creamcicle Sagittaes on aquabid. The seller is offering 1' fry from this pair.

Never saw them this color, just barred or xanthic. Makes me tempted, would be fun to try breeding one with one of my Xanthics, but it would take a long time for them to catch up in size to mine. Here is the description I copied and pasted:

Parents are pictured. Auction is for 10 fry that are 1" and these still show the barred pattern. These are easy keepers, stay smaller than red devils and are better tempered. Each will color individually and there is no way to tell what that pattern will be until they change! Shipping is for Priority mail, my zip is 42539,check USPS and see delivery time estimate before bidding please. If you require express mail, add $25.00 for higher shipping costs. More of these are available for $2 each to auction winner. There is no LAG unless buyer pays additional shipping costs for express, package arrives in one day and delivery is made on the first attempt. Clear pics within 2 hours af arrival in unopened bag.
