yea i know...you gonna do a mac shoal like you said before? or you gonna go pygos or rhom?

we'll see when the time comes. don't want to commit to anything yet. Most likely a shoal unless I stumble upon a 16"+ diamond or a big mannie or something. something exotic for sure. mac's or geryi's. I'd do real spilos if I could find them.


although other people keep telling me about these fish called "pIE-goes." They sound interesting. I'm learning about them. We'll see.

don't think you'll be able to find any diamond 16"+, 14" is the biggest one I know of...and my 11.5-12" diamond is probably one of big one here...I haven't seen any one has a bigger one. a large mannie would be nice, but they are hard to come by for sure.

yeah well the rarity is what would make me go for a monster rhom instead of a shoal. Same with the mannie.

Also when I said pie-goes I was being a bit facetious and referring to pygocentrus piranhas. The ones I've never kept and still don't know a whole lot about. Hard to be a sarcastic bastard in type.

i'd highly recommend caribe or piraya...but caribe would be cheaper unless money is not a factor.

well it depends on whether or not I've got kids ( or on the way) by the time we move out of here. If not then money won't really be a factor.

yea kid...I know what you mean. I'm in the same boat....my wife is putting pressure one me to down size...I'll see how long I can hold it off..
