For once there were a few arrowanas...

The biggest of them (a gold one about 1.5 foot) was donated this morning by a guy who, apparently, got fed up with it! It's the one in the first picture... It looks a bit battered and had one drop-eye but still...

The others, silvers, were about 20 cm long...

I've forgotten the names of these ones... very cute though... My friend Jeff, who works there, just received a big batch of them... he's planning to keep them in the store in a 10 feet long x 2 feet wide x 2 feet high tank...

Nice Lou keep them coming. I have a request though no more arrows every time I see one these days pushes me closer and closer to the argument with Mrs Y about getting one for the house of George, one project at a time me thinks.

I really like them Do they get big?

8-9 inch max size but they do better in groups so I'd get at least 4. They are veggies by nature but will eat anything. That's more or less a general rule of thumb for most fish that come under the silver dollar banner.
