It's a beautiful fish, isn't it? :)

Yanbbrox brother, I wonder how that tank would have looked with darker gravel, a black background, the same driftwood arrangement, no plants and just the silver dollars... maybe 2-3 more of these...

... and *cough* a silver arowana
;)

(I apologise for having modified your picture...)

Too expensive, according to me... approx. Australian $ 180.00 (MUR 4,200.00 or US $ 166.00 or £ 83.00)... :irked:

Any Loulou bought on MFK get a free conversion calculator with him:ROFL:

Auto correction in photoshop? I would have done it myself but It took me soooo long to fine the pictures.

The plants still died all the time back then, or they would have if the dollars didn't eat them anyway.

Edit away...... When you've got a spare minute you can nip round here with that new camera of yours and take a decent shot of George for a change;)

Seriously, do you Mauritians over there hang around at night drinking moon monkey wine dreaming of black grounds or is it a personal thing:ROFL:

Nice pics! Just a little FYI on the "fake saltwater tank": I believe that the non-cichlids in the tank were sebae monos. They can actually tolerate conditions that range from fresh to full salt. My understanding is that they tend to thrive in brackish conditions. So, if not for the cichlids in the tank, it could have been saltwater. LOL.
