I got two yesterday for the zoo. Took six months and a ton of paper work to do it legally. (Since they are protected by CITES).

Like I said in another thread, I've had several 10' plus adults to care for. By far my favorite freshwater fish. Can't wait to see this pair grow up.

How big are the 2 that you just purchased for the zoo?

Here's one I dug up last night. It's me in with some of the display animals at the Dallas World Aquarium. (It's still not a full size adult.)

big ass freaking fish. i was at moody garden in galveston, TX and they have a couple in their outside display. the biggest one was about 6' i believe. somehow a poor duck from the next display got out and into the tank where the gigs are at. To make the story short all I saw was alot of splashes and the duck gone.
