I have wanted one of these for quite a while now,if anyone has any information on getting and keeping Armadillos I welcome the words.

saw a an armadillo and her young for sale in the phil. they were asking us$300 for both..go figure how they got there...

i want one too im just waiting for them to continue spreading north into my area so i can try to get one

Hi
This is not much help but they rip up my lawn looking for mole crickets and grubs. They run pretty slow kind of easy to catch.Over the past few years ther numbers are dropping I use to see them all the time now its pretty rare.

They're vicious, despite their cute appearance, about as mean as racoons...that's about all I know about them. Illegal to keep out here.

try getting one here in the UK !!!! - I have asked everyone over the past few years - i can't even find any on the continent.

Oh they're not that mean. I have photos of me hand feeding them in Florida. They don't have any teeth to bite you with but they do have an impressive set of claws on them.

Here's a couple photos I took with my digital camera of a few armadillos eating a shish kabob in our campsite. The photo of me hand feeding them was taking with a disposable camera. I'll have to see where the photo is.
