I've read that they are good eating but I'd have no clue how to clean one or where the meat would be...dillos are pretty cool though.

You would have to look for someone who sells exotic animals. They are a bit hard to find but can be found. I worked at a pet store that had one. We feed it watered down dog food. He was not mean but you do have to be careful of the hind legs. They have quite a kick and some serious nails for some major cuts if you are not careful. Good luck in your hunt.

i had one like a pet in lousiana he would come out every evening and i could feed him worms and bugs youll have to do a lot of local searches in the south for one
