arowana bite

Hey all,

Has anyone ever been bitten by an arowana before? I held a pellet between my fingers that day and stuck it in the water so see how my jardini would react and one of his small little jagged teeth cos the corner of my finger. Wasn't very painful, kinda like a small needle sting and a tiny blood mark haha. Thought it was pretty cool to experience that from my own arowana!

Amazing how their teeth are so small yet sharp. I feel like I'm more bonded with my jar now hahahaha! I kid!

I took a good bite from my black, he is usually always calm and doesn't mind me at all but one night during feeding time I threw in some shrimp for him and was dropping in some worms for the rays and discus on the other side of the tank. He swam over to my hand slowly as usual to see what's going on and out of no where launched Strait up at my hand and ripped up my pinky and ring finger pretty good. They bled and swelled up almost instantly and had a stinging sensation for a while. Now I'm a Lil more cautious of where he's at when my hand is in lol

My silver bit me once when I was cleaning the tank and on the phone. Left my hand in there a second and he chompd my finger. Drew blood. After that he actually snapped at me a lot and bite me again when I was netting another fish. Ended up getting rid of him. He also started freaking out my FRT.
