Arowana is sick and swimming with bending tail

no at this point I'm guessing its just bad water quality. Since I don't know the parameters I can't rule that out and I can't give medical advice on the situation. put pictures of the fish up here if you can.

I say right now your best bet is water changes and a little salt in the water. No meds yet.

Ok I'll change the water and with some salt and yea I'll post the picture.can u tell me y is he bending while swimming. His tail is downward.

it sounds like it could be either an internal issue caused by water parameters or PH swing, or possibly he slammed into the tank lids or sides and injured his spine. Curved backs in fish could have multiple causes. My guess is the PH/water quality.

He hasn't slammed to lid as per my observations since he is ill. Let's try changing the water and I'll keep updating. Thnx for help sir and yea I'll post the pic In some time

I'm not sound hash or negative but I got feeling the fish giving up its life for good...2 foots long arowana in 90 gallons tank, go figure!

I'm not going to harp on tank size, but please buy a water test kit. This way you can verify that your water is or is not contributing to his bad health. If money is an issue beg, borrow or steal to get it so you're not guessing and have some real information to go on. Good luck.

It's not the issue, but I didn't knew about the test kit. And I didn't knew that they need so much water care. Can u tell me what exactly it is and how it looks .i want my aro to recover .thnx

There's a variety, but for your typical consumer hobbyists, this kit is widely used with good enough accuracy for $20-$25. You can buy specific tests bottles, for ammonia, nitrite, PH, etc... But this has all the basics. If you're not in North America, just go to your LFS and ask, they should be able to point you the way.
