Kaya,

That's a good count. The RTC will be a great addition as well. I have seen some tanks around 240 - 400G with 5 Aros and rays and cats; that's less tank per fish.

I am getting my 300G tank tomorrow and will spend the next 8 weeks setting it up; the only additiona I will be making to it will be a RTC.

Good luck subscribed and watching.
Thats great mate.. all the best with the new tank and the RTC.. have loads of fun.. cheers.. :)

in all honesty... Checking up on this thread is the only reason i check this site everyday lol. I have nothing new to post these past several weeks so i have no reason to get on, yet everyday i check to see if theres new pics on this thread, I even have the link on my desktop lol. And it is to the point that it is killing me to see the aros and cat moved in.

PS, make my daily trip to this thread worth it, PICS ;)

BTW, how much has this whole thing cost you? Someday i plan to do something like this, but bigger and with a glass viewing panel for arapaima and other large fish. So id like to get an idea of how much it'll be potentially

Great.. there is a sump at the rear as egon has mentioned.. the only thing is i've not incorporated the filters into the sump.. i've used the second chamber in the sump to house the pumps and filters.. from the pumps water move to two canisters and return to the tank..
