looks good! good luck on the water leak issue. my friends pond that we build leeched stuff out for 6 months. hopefully yours will be cleaned out faster. when i get my monster pond up and going i'll be swimming with my fishes, looks like you got enough room to do the same.

hey scott.. i'm hoping for the same.. prob will take a couple more fill and drain.. i read on a pond construction site i could use diluted vinegar and brush it on the walls to get the stuff out quicker.. might try it post this fill and drain.. :)

Hey guys.. been sometime.. the water didn't go down post a point.. jus somewhere between the top skimmer tube.. the water was in there for like a week.. managed to get a .5 hp pump and used the water for the entire garden.. cleaned up the entire pond surface et all on saturday.. today we did a wash with diluted vinegar.. going to fill the pond again a little higher than the usual level tomorrow and observe for a week.. :) cheers..

Managed a second refill last evening.. the water level didn't drop as much as last time.. like less than an inch.. and no more powdery gritty stuff floating around.. will give it a week.. if the water still remains clear, will throw in a few guppies and check. Put up a video, but its really nothin.. just pumping the water into the tank :)
