Hey ppl.. started to make a growth video.. wanted to show how broad the aros have become plus the length.. but unfortunately i got a phone call and the video is half done.. anyway whatever i took.. akira.. the largest must be about 28"+ .. gandalf is around the same 27"+ and the smallest is Ninja Ninja.. about 24"+.. he had a small problem.. scales protruding and all.. treated for almost ten days with antibiotics and its over a month now.. seems to have got better.. finally my RTC..Davy Jones.. about 24".. its tough with the water to say exactly.. the tiles are 1'X1' .. but end of the day the larger aros are as broad as 6".. prob another day will do another feeding video and show when they pick up food from the bottom.. cheers

Hi Kaya,

just a thought I had, watching your video... don't your fishes look extremely clear ? Especially Davy Jones ! I guess it's because of the "light blue pool" color of your pond... I understand it's much easier to keep it clear and clean that way... But what would you think of putting a bit of golden sand into your pond, to obtain a more "naturaly Amazonian" look ??? and maybe a few branches or big roots to color the water into something more "dark gold"...

Again, it's just an opinion, my way of thinking, and definitely not a must or a wish... Can you tell me the advantages to keep them in this way in very "swimming pool like" waters ? Thank you in advance for your answer...
