We use freshwater and I can't complain about the results

Plus, I thought the salt in the freshwater would get boiled out anyways, making it freshwater?...that probably sounds stupid...

The water would boil away before the salt. So as the water gets evaporated when cooking in salt water, the water gets saltier and saltier...

You shoulda learned that at school
