Ahh ok.
There was a guy who had flatties in fresh and was selling them... apparently they need fast running water, kinda like a running stream.

If I can find a good spot to get bream I'll do a convert.... I don't know good spots for them :P

Without going into a lot of science the metabolism of satwater fish is such that they will die a slow and painful death when kept in freshwater the flathead will die .
If you want Bream fish in the brackish to fresh sections of any local stream they are very commen and already nearly acclimated
Note they are a regulated species with a minimum size of 23 cm in QLD

Hows the red scat going?

Regs Steve

Scat's going exellent, gets along fine with everyone which is good. Nothing picks on him and the aggresion seems to have leveled out, for the time being anyway.

He's getting fatter also, he was a bit malnourished when i got him.

That's why they are noxious in NSW. It ain't always the exotics you gotta watch.

Its the biggest ****ing pain in the ass, i was trying to film the school of Jungles going round in a group and the lil ****er kept biting them non stop. So it has to go. mabye it was the barred that was beating up my other silver grunter? not the big one? lil ****.

I did expect this though, just not this soon.....

So yer someone take him! :D
