i am converting a striped trumpeter to freshwater. so far so good. hes in about 1.002 salt and 35ms conductivity so alkmost there.

Jardini is going ok active not scared or anything seemed hungry wont eat sticks or pellets though .
Fed it 2 fat gravid empire gudgeons with a stick soaked in vitamin supplement shoved down their throats. smashed them straight down
Put in some ammolock and stresscoat
parameters now
ph 6.3
NO2 0
NO3 10 ppm
NH3/NH4 4ppm

put in some firetails to see what happens they carked it in in 10 minutes

Nah cuaght them on line before though, quite a nice fish.

I got some little ones about 20mm a few years ago when I was collecting brackish they grew fast ate anything and were nasty little buggers at 5 cm one lived with a 8 cm jack till they both grew to 25 cm very tough fish the others terrorised every thing I had them with they seem to have a pathological hatred for scats and monos.
