Dont use UV I like a bit of microflora.
Home made cannisters 200 litre blue plastic drums.
Sumps made from those 1000 litre plastic bulk liquid containers on pallets with various media and, single sex redclaw in them (great **** eaters but they breed and you end up with them all through the system)
sedimentation filter pond full of various water plants . some probably not supposed to have
Small native pond pics, 45 000 litres, homemade 200 liter cannister at back 10 000 LPH submersible pump circulating it.

I've got a red claw in one of my hobs, he does a wicked job of cleaning up!!!
