Today I had some idiot woman approach me and my mate while we were fishing. She was from the redcliffe council and tried to tell us that catching Tilapia and not returning them is illegal.. I was like "ummm, actually its illegal to not kill them...." she acted like a complete phuckhead and rang the police on us.

That is Moreton Bay Regional Council now, was she really from the council ? MBRC has a pest management division who actually try to control Tilapia I know the guy who runs it he is the council rep on the native fish for mosquito control section of the small fish hatchery. will mention this to him.

She was literally threatening us with her constant "I'm from Redcliff council and you are violating the wildlife!"
I wanted to knock her block off aye... she was probs around 50 or older and didn't have the first clue aye.
 
Probably some crazy misguided greeny type, been MBRC for some time would probably have said I'm from MBRC if she did work for the council.

Posted some pics of a few jewies a week ago in the Australian Fishing thread on the Fishing Forum. It sucks not being able to post pics got a new camera and cant post pics.
