This is the common name for this Sciaenid and the one most widely used here, though some fishing forums have banned its use in this age of PC.
Will use Mulloway in future so as not to offend. There are a lot of non PC common names in use here. Blackfish(and a much uglier derivative thereof)
Chinaman Fish ect, the most interesting though is Scotchmans Prick a type of Labrid.

Pm'd about the pbass. Yep, red tail marginata. Red is much stronger than the yellow on the JP and the fish get a much deeper body.

Watched the K. marginata juvie it is about 35mm feeding in my juvie comm tank today and noticed the red for the first time cool always thought they were plainer than K. rupestris with the black margin to the tail and very few markings definately have to get some more.

Sorry Drew dont do facebook never tried will have a look though, feel free to use any pics I have posted ect.

Scotchmans Pricks like all labrids are good to eat, dont get them very big though. Another member of the Genus the Butchers Prick (not having a lend of you this is its common name) is also very good eating.

Hey Cam you should do a vid of the Coalie juvies feeding my vids suck. They are voracious little buggers make Piranhas look tame, love watching them they will eat till they sink and nearly burst. Benn putting small shrimp in they rip them apart so quickly very entertaining.
