This is the common name for this Sciaenid and the one most widely used here, though some fishing forums have banned its use in this age of PC.A. gigas;4188226; said:

Chinaman Fish ect, the most interesting though is Scotchmans Prick a type of Labrid.

Scotchmans Pricks like all labrids are good to eat, dont get them very big though. Another member of the Genus the Butchers Prick (not having a lend of you this is its common name) is also very good eating.
Yep I know a wide variety of interesting facts regarding fish.

Hey Cam you should do a vid of the Coalie juvies feeding my vids suck. They are voracious little buggers make Piranhas look tame, love watching them they will eat till they sink and nearly burst. Benn putting small shrimp in they rip them apart so quickly very entertaining.
