Blackspot Estuary Cod are the only ones that will tolerate low salinity min 10 ppt and less for short periods, but will die in pure fresh. When I was young and did not understand about osmosis and diffusion killed a couple trying keep them in fresh.cogs;4193541; said:hay has anyone had a estury cod in freshwater before because i maybe getting one

It does get a little cooler but the pond will be insulated and have a cover in winter to try and keep the temp over 15 degrees hopefully
Size is yet to be determined but will depend on species ,probably up to 1.5m x 3-4m x .8 deep
Thanks for the infoaussiemonsters;4193789; said:If you can keep it 15 degrees Leis are ok short periods of 12 wont worry them woulld require a net they like to jump.
