Look good, jar is chunky. I see a serious tank upgrade in your future :D

As for the fish AaE killed, baby pbass. The batch last night arrived alive, two were wobbly and dead this morn but the rest are feeding like champs. So total tally is 11/20 dead. I fully expected to lose some due to their size but not to that extent. Expensive little exercise, should have bought some mature fish and shipped them from Bris.
They're both getting along well atm. I think it helps that they're both the same size.

I'm hopeful that it can wait a couple of years till we're in a house instead of a unit and I can build my monster tank :D

That sux about your fish masone. I've always been weary about having livestock delivered for that exact reason. Too much not under your control.

Sorry was bound to happen, Jar probably started it, Jack always wins teeth plus an incredible amount of jaw pressure. A mate had a 10 " oscar put a 4'' Jack in, oscar bluffed it for a few days then the Jack ripped its lip off. Will try to take the prime cover spot in the tank next which would be currently occupied by your Cod, Jack will win , then will consider all tankmates as intruders in its territory, Jack will tear chunks out of them.
Not trying to jinx you or anything just the nature of the beast. LMAO at people who say species X Y or Z are the toughest/meanest etc. they have not kept Jack, nothing survives in a tank with them for long . The only fish that tries to bite you when you catch them, nothing like the sound of a BIG Jack snapping its jaws together.

The Jar did start it, I saw him last night again. The Jack just stands over him and pushes him back with his mouth open. He must be pretty smart, trying to take out the jar by trying to rip his gill off.

That's fu.cked, I wanted to keep them all together, but now I might have to separate them all. I wanna keep my Jack as he's my favoutire, but I also want to keep my big cods and yella and the turtle. Iv'e just got no where to put em.

I am putting a pic up of the jars injuries in my other post, let me know if there's anything I can do for him.
