Just set up ? pics would help, best to have ecology established before you stock weed,inverts,small fish etc. turtles eat fish esp long necks.

Moved this upstairs today, new home for the Green.
Going to start setting it up tomorrow.

Looks like a tank in every room, how long till we see some more pics of your Green.
 
Nice Steve. You don't like painting the back of your tanks? The greens colour will pop more if you have a dark background and substrate. The Jar looks chunky too.

Yes the Jar is fat isn't she, keeps eating the clean up crew (redclaw) and pretty much anything she can swallow that goes in, the best effort so far a 30 cm eel.
The tank the Green is in was temporary, new tank will have black base, back and sides and 24/7 lighting. Only got the base done so far got sidetracked this week, went fishing and had to sort out some Leis in ponds that are starting to court.

How does the 24/7 lighting affect the fish? Does it stuff up their circadian rhythm? Does the intense light periods increase their colour?
 
Never tried it before. Following Koji's advice. His Greens are stunners.
How big is your Banjar ? Nice looking fish.
