Have you had some on QLDAF harassing you with plant questions??? lol username: ClammoEksmasone;4531927; said:Not for a long time, maybe two years? Was fully planted out back then.
Haha yeah, s'pose that is you then? If you are ever chasing any needle leaf java fern etc let me know, I usually have extra stuff floating around in a spare tank.Danzig86;4532353; said:Have you had some on QLDAF harassing you with plant questions??? lol username: ClammoEks

I need some advice. I've ordered a tank that's 6'Lx2'Hx2.5'W. What should I put in it? Originally I was thinking of catching a few bream and a flathead and setting up an estuary tank but then I was thinking a mangrove jack would be cool. There's too many choices!
Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks for the reply. Hmmm, the eel sounds interesting. What's the go with the "freshwater" morays? What's their availability like? I'm thinking 1 or 2 larger predators rather than a heap of smaller fish. I do like the gudgeon idea though. Worst part is it will probably be a month before I get the tank, then another month at least to cycle it. Too much time to stew on the options!Gahandi;4540739; said:maybe a short-finned eel, golden perch and a school of silver perch?
or maybe some eel-tail cats, and many assorted gudgeon,
all depends on whether you want a predator tank or a community one really.
but yes there are so many options but so little tank space
always need a bigger tank lol
Maybe a monster planted tank with a school of rainbows, preferably not wild caught though .Antony;4540241; said:Hi guys,
