Anyone having any luck with keeping coal grunters in a group. I had two but one killed the other. My brother has lost two or three out of a group of about eight. I know they are aggressive little fu*kers but does this sound like normal behaviour. My remaining grunter is fine with a shoal of six jungle perch - doesn't bother them at all although any new additions to the tank he rips apart. He also shares with six clown loaches, two gold-spot plecs and a Syn. decora without any problems but they pretty much keep out of his way.

Thinking about getting a mangrove jack.. Would say a 6x3x2 keep them for life?.
Any one else here keep one?

My new jar, had him about 3 weeks. Lives on beef heart, frogs, roaches, crickets an what ever other bugs i catch.
