I was wondering what a spotted silver belly was, as AI wholesaler are selling them for $20ea, now i know its a bony bream.

Spotted Silverbelly is Gerres argyreus a northern species of Gerres ovatus what we call a Silver Biddy Cam. $20 each for bait lol.

Silver Biddy/Bony bream all the same with baitfish
They do look pretty cool in a tank though, we had some at work for a while.

In freshwater ? hows the K. marginata going ?

Yeah we had em in Freshwater. He's doing fine, had to put him in mum's livebearer tank due to the size of him compared to the others, he's growin like a champ, gets live babies every 3 days or so and bloodworms everynight.

Anyone having any luck with keeping coal grunters in a group. I had two but one killed the other. My brother has lost two or three out of a group of about eight. I know they are aggressive little fu*kers but does this sound like normal behaviour. My remaining grunter is fine with a shoal of six jungle perch - doesn't bother them at all although any new additions to the tank he rips apart. He also shares with six clown loaches, two gold-spot plecs and a Syn. decora without any problems but they pretty much keep out of his way.

had 5 in native juvie comm. for 6 weeks became a bit of a PITA hassling other fish but only really sqabbled amongst each other. Gave one away and moved 4 into Jar tank 7 weeks ago still squabble a bit smallest one looked a bit tatty today but I suspect the Jar.
