Archers are fine in ponds, I used to have a few in cairns. Dunno bout down here though in winter. as for gars, get some spotteds, they are the same price as gators.

Yeah I thought they would be okay, I was just wondering whether they jump at all- one or both of our ponds are getting heated in a month or two so 4 or 5 archers should be good.

I was thinking about a spotted, but ever since getting into the hobby I always wanted an Alli.gar

How much do you see spotteds for?
