if i wanted glass i would but it will be to heavy my misses dad works for city glass so i can get it cheap my 350 weigh 250 kg glass only so what would a 1000+ weighs u reckon?


did anyone see u? they would of been like wtf are these clowns doing lol

ring around the custom acrylic fabricators in bris, some will be able to do tanks. Just try an check out their previous work if you can. Otherwise polytech in WA does tanks but shipping costs would prolly suck.
 
hi all, im new here and new to natives, ive got african cichlids and american cichlids, but ive just recently got a 6x2x2 and m still unsure of what to put in it, at first i was gunna do a massive american tank, but now i'm pretty keen on some natives....
ive got a 10cm tandanus catfish in with my americans and he's really active and always first to the food......
I want to get a small murray cod and a small (maybe medium size so he doesnt get eaten straight away) longfinned eel to put in with him in the new tank....maybe a small bullrout aswell....would this setup work and does anyone know where i could get these fish?

Hey mate, Welcome to the forum. Its good to see your into Natives ;), Some Petshops/Aquariums around your area might be able to order them in for you cause they are coming more into season now, (Although they have been around for a couple of months).

The Eel should be ok if its twice the size of the cod, make sure you give him hidey holes, they also like the bury into gravel. Bullrouts are pretty cool aswel, they make good ambush predators. I'll warn you though, if you get a murray you probably wont be able to put any other large fish with him when he gets bigger, they become meaner and dominant and will kill almost any other fish. Bullrout are getting around aswel atm, we got 12 of them in at work yesterday from a wholesaler, so someone has em. You could also try to find them privatly they would be cheaper, but you can always find them.

you would have a har enough time finding glass thickenough for im assuming 1000 gallonjs? acrylic fabs will do it but they arent sheap. them ****s wanted 300 dollars for a 5x20" windsheild ofr a bot and all that was special was rounded corners.

The thickest glass I know they get is 25 mm. the size I want is 410cmx160x100 dont think that will cut tho

G'day, you'll enjoy the Murray once it gets big enough to feel safe out of it's hiding place, lol.
 
i just got a 40cm eel tail catty from the dam and put it in my pond and got a call from the misses saying it's in half is guess some can and some can't i only have 1 fish that can do that it's up for sale pm me shhhhhh:naughty:
