Automation makes cars. Where is the self satisfaction of actually KEEPING animals alive by you're own efforts and desires.
Automation can keep people alive, and fish too I guess, but I don't see much point to make an aquarium that automated.
A coffee table, or picture, just "automatically" sits/hangs there waiting to be looked at.
No input/interaction needed.
