Baby oscar growth rate questions

Guys I basically got two baby oscars, they r really small , which meansi can't add them to my main tank, so the oscars are approximately 1-2 inches and their colours are really bad right now, they r housed with two small albino walking catfish. So my main two questions are,
how much does an oscar grow in one month?
2)will their colours/texture get any better.
They are pretty active, they are eAting.

I know oscars grow fast in the first few months but it depends on tank size, water conditions and what/how much they are fed. Most of the times they grow 1-1/4 inches a month.

For the color thing I really dont know about that maybe someone else will chime in.

Color will improve with time and a good diet. In my experience, Oscars grow very fast, maybe 1" a month, maybe even a little more with a good diet and frequent water changes.

So I'll post the pictures of the food tmrw, in Pakistan the local time is 4:11 am so I'm going to sleep. But guys do check the thread tmrw, tell if this food will work otherwise I'll have to give them Hikari Cichlid gold medium pellet might be to big for them, no mini pellets here.

Mine grew about an inch a month until 10inches were it slowed slightly. They are one of the fastest growing aquarium fish

Going to go ahead and echo everyone in here

Expect 1-2 inches a month until they reach 10 to 12 inches with proper water changes and a good diet. Color will change quite a bit over the next year or so and will continue afterwards at a slower pace like their growth of course.

Concur with all the prior posts. What size tank are they in now? Walking Catfish... you mean Clarius? If they are any size, keep an eye, they can be mean, and if they think they can eat something, they will give it a shot. Another question.. the main tank.. how big is this and what is living in it?

My Oscar grew to 9 to 10 inches in 4 months now her eats less and don't grow as fast as lil guys they rocket in size tho feeding belly fulls couple times a day
