October last year a batman leopoldi was born in The Netherlands. It has been doing great since, it behaves just like normal stingrays and moves, eats, and acts alike.

The batman stingray is very healthy, active and has no problem competing for food. The spots still have to turn white, but even now it`s is stunning

In this video the feeding behavior of a healthy batman leopoldi is shown. There is no problem with the other stingrays and feeding competition is no problem what so ever

If you don't look at the wings, the head kind of looks like a frog's.

I would say it looks like the face of a nurse shark!
