i didn't vote for him but this is my 4.5" jag i got from rapps in september he has a shorter upper jaw that gives him a very bull dog like look and he has a much taller body than his sibling (middle pic) of around the same length, i can't wait to see how he looks as he matures

I voted for jumbo because of the fins, prominent lateral line, attitude.

A point and shoot took the pic of mine, so it's not that far out of reach:)

XR what about the Jags in your Avatar, those wild caughts really have a nice, slender, predatory look to them and I love the markings.

they are a very fun pair of fish. 13-14" F0 jeff rapps nicerguan jaguars. induvidually wild caught that i paired up. i personally would like to add some bulk to the male- i'd love mine to have the same marking colors and personality just with green terra's jag's body style. they get the gorgeus blue sheen on almost all fins during breeding. i'm plannig on moveing them from their 6'x18" to one of my private 6'x2's. if the male had more bulk on him and i had a great DSLR setup to take shots with, i'd probably enter mine. i take really shizzy pics. i'm sure there's a few other jags on this website that could make the cut to be in here, but everybody doesn't have the camera setup's Mo and others have though.

when my current pair starts getting older like 8-9 (currently 3ish), i plan to do a series of breedings and fry raiseing over 6 months to a year to find any great looking fry's for features such as mo's fin's or rons scales. crossing my fingers that after 3 spawns or 1000+ fry i can find some great looking fella's.

a question for Gt, mo, rally, and ron-

how or what or where did you come across your gorgeus jaguars?

My pic was from a Kodak DX7590 point and shoot. It's far from glamorous.

I actually found my jag at the LFS in the same tank as my Chinese perch:) Traded a protein skimmer (huge one) to get him.
