Best monster fish?

Welcome to the MFK! I am glad you followed the advice off YouTube to join here.

See, here we are mostly concerned with the proper housing and care for our pets and anything else is extra. I hope you share in this approach. Some wildly successful YouTubers seem to place the proper fish keeping on the second or third or an N-th place. I hope you are not, nor will become one of those.

You say:

What do you mean that you have two very different water sources? Well and tap?

I'd probably recommend finishing the 2500 gal first, then getting well started on the 12,000 gal, and only then getting your target fish that grow the biggest, such as arapaima, which will be 5'-6' in 2 years.

If you want to know which fish grow the biggest, check the third link in my signature and look over my database sorted by fish max size.
Ya ill keep it at the best place possible,i want my fish to thrive, this 2500g Aquarium is nearing its completion, however this aquarium will be my growout tank as im shifting to another house ,probably next year and there ill build this aquarium,so i think arapima will be growing out here and will be moved to the next large tank

I have some advice for The Fish Guy India regarding YouTube videos.

When the camera focuses on you it is very clear, but when you focus on the fish it is not.

While you are a handsome young fellow, the audience really wants to see the fish!

Focus more on the fish in the videos.

Take some time to study the proper way to shoot videos and photographs of an aquarium and your videos will be much better.

Also it is much more professional if you script out what you are going to say in advance.

That is really bad advice, no channel that just focuses on the fish gets anywhere. All of the big pet channels focus on the personality of the user, just look at taylor nicole dean, uaru joey and snake discovery.

The best place to learn both youtube and business is the cory mcelroy channel, another channel run by the second biggest aquarium youtuber, aquarium co op. The biggest benefit to your channel is being based in india without much competition, the biggest detriment is your username which is terrible for seo, i had real trouble finding your channel amongst all the other channels named thefishguy. If you could change your username to something unique that would probably help you a lot.

As for fish, if you could get north american fish that would probably do very well in india, since no one else will be keeping them and it would attract a lot of interest.

I don't wish to appear too rude here but this whole thread is just nonsense. It's all summed up beautifully really when you realise it was posted on the 1st of April! It's the worse thread i've ever read, and a few minutes of my life i'll unfortunately never get back.

I didn't tell him to ONLY focus on the fish; but 90% of the time the camera was on him, and the 10% of the time that was on the fish it was out of focus.

. . . the biggest detriment is your username which is terrible . . .

I absolutely agree about that. Besides the fact that it's already being used, the name is just boring.

The name should be more adventurous. It should convey the excitement and danger of keeping large aquatic predators.

It should also seem exotic to the Western culture.

Yeah, & I'm still waiting to see the pictures of those garfish too . . .

You've done nothing wrong,no need for an apology. There have been a few troll posters pop up around the forum recently and some might have initially suspected that you were one of those types but after a few posts you appear to be quite a serious hobbyist. We look forward to seeing more of your photos.
