Yep, but there skull are more harder than snakeheads. the snakeheads that I've turned to skull as well are falling part and they have softer bones.

Hard skull+jaw power=extreme creature!

bichirs constantly grow in new teeth like sharks, and they are all curved back to trap their prey

Looks like 1 row though.

1 row? They atually have 3 row. If we count the teeth from the 3rd one then there is more.

-First row the big teeth or the primary teeth use for cutting or tearing up prey.
-Second row are the replacement teeth when the primary teeth falls off.
-Third row front are the spiky looking teeth that is being use for holding prey. Third row back side are the tiny teeth. Not sure what's it's being use for but my guest for chewing food as I see my bichirs will chew it's from the side of it's mouth.

It's a long story on how I got the skull. This lap died a few months ago. It go fin rot and other skin disease when it arrived from Africa. I tried to cure it but it wasn't a success. So I decided to take the skull of the dead lap as Cohazard wanted to see the teeth.

What I'm trying to say is what are the processes you took to acquire that skull. You're saying you took the skull from the lap and exactly how did you do it? Did you wait for the whole body to rot or did you chopped off it's head, hopefully not?

Yeah, they do all Bichirs have that set-up of teeth (if they didn't they would not be Polypterids) it is just that when you add flesh,muscle etc..they don't look as big...Look closly at Sens at 8"+ and you'll see them

Yep I chopped it off from the dead bichir and bury the body. I froze the head for 24 hours, then let it submerged to bleach and the flesh will just rot away and makes the skull pearly white. After that clean the remaining flesh and rinse it. You can also glaze the skull if you want to.
