If they are indeed replacement teeth growing in to replace the others, I wonder if they are actually being used at all or even show through the flesh before they replace teeth on the jaw line?
I'm sitting on an interesting paper that is helping me learn the termsf rom skull bones, I should have more info by this weekend.
