Bichir tank mates and plants

Out of curiosity do you know how big albino Senegal bichir fish get I don't know if they get bigger or smaller than regular Senegals but it would be important for me to know cuz I've heard many different things online and don't know what to believe if you can let me know that would be very helpful

I have not had any albino exceed 7 inches in length. The largest one I have is almost 7 inches, but her growth tanked hard at 6 inches. It took over 1 1/2 years for her to grow around 0.7 inches.

However, if you're getting one, assume it'll reach 10 inches. Most don't ever get more than 5-6 inches, but occasionally some do reach 10+. Better more room for a smaller fish than not enough for a big one.

For senegal, its quite a gamble. I have one slayer that outgrow all in that tank by twice. Now its even bigger than my delhezi, 11" in just 6 months, its siblings only 4-5". My 2c is to observe first 3-4months for growth. And ofc nitrate level. Low nitrate = more fish 😅

I ended up not getting the delhezi but I got the 2 Senegals. I was wondering if there is a species of Datinoid or cichlid that I could put with the bichirs?

Severum (different variations of this fish - look them up and choose the one you like), Blood-Red Parrots, Silver Datnoid (the other datnoid species get too big for a 75 gallon), Geophagus (many different variations of this cichlid - look them up, and choose the one you prefer), Angelfish
