They are not ornates, they look more like captive bred P. bichir. Cool fish nonetheless

I agree definitely not ornates. They appear to be Polypterus bichir (Lapradei). I'm not entirely sure they are captive bred. Looks like it could be wild ones that have been kept in captivity for some time.
