So sorry to hear this! That makes two large, long-term Oscars gone within just a few weeks: @FINWIN lost her iconic Brick very recently, and now Big Boy. I've followed along with both of these fish for years, it's almost like hearing that a friend has lost a dog. My sincere condolences. 
Everybody takes Oscars for granted because they're common as dirt, but they are still one of the most interesting, intelligent and personable fish in the hobby.

Sorry for your loss. Big Boy had a great life under your care 12 years is quite the accomplishment.
Thank you so much. My friend came over and helped me bury him. I put him in a Rubbermaid container. I will make a tombstone for him.
Thank you. I will be moving my Blue Texas Cichlid from the 72 gallon to the 125. He should do well in there.
