Blue eyed Pleco price???

Cochliodon. If you can't clearly see spikes on its sides from all angles, the head is quite rounded and the color is dark grey-ish, then it's not Suttonorum.
I've seen black BES before but it's very unlikely though.

That was another pleco that used to be cheap(er). I got one for $35. I also got two others(both under $50)

Warborg has a good memory. I also remember blue eye plecos for $40 and full grown zebra plecos for around the same price. 2 inch zebras were only $18 in the 90’s. $40 was still a lot for a pleco back then as there wasn’t much interest. African cichlids and Discus were hot back then, not plecos. Prices completely flipped now...Discus are dirt cheap and plecos skyrocketed.

$300 for a healthy blue eye is a fair deal since they were close to a $1000 not long ago

I remember when the royal plecos were twice as much as the BEP. Hoping the price comes down for the BEP now that the military activities in Columbia hopefully ending.
