Breeding zebra plecos

not personally, but there are 100 and one people that have and if you search google, zebrapleco.com or planetcatfish, you'll have article upon article upon article
 
Anyone that has is not posting on this site, they are sailing on their yacht. They should get satellite connection.
 
from about the 50 i read, i got this out of it:

cave spawners so have numerous caves (tight fitting best)
water conditions, good.
no one really knows the best ratio- some say 4:1 female:male, others say 7males:3 females- you get the idea.
feed well
do about a 70% water change, with colder water to mimick a flood and feed well afterwards with bloodworms or something

then baby zebras

thanks, dude, i've done that, maybe i should post it in a different manner, anybody from my country did it before? would like to understand it, and visit if possible:drool:

i've tried and failed, maybe because my ratio is wrong:(
 
id keep trying if i were you, eventually you'll get what you want. also how old are they? maybe they arent old enough to be spawning? whats your current ratio? can you put up pics? i dont think we have a zebra pleco owner on here so would love to see them.

my last few died not long ago, now it seems that in Singapore, it's pretty hard to get zebras, cos they'll really hard to find and the price is exorbitant... (about >S$150).

So now, I'm waiting for the season to arrive again (which is probably late june to august):drool:

i will try when i get another few...... in the meantime, well, just have to prepare their lovenest:D
