I just descovered that I had moved all the pictures from one server to another. OOPS. I put them back so the thread should show the images again.

Heres 2 pics of the background. I've got some huge driftwood stumps coming next weekend. I'll try to fill it next weekend and fire up the filter system to test run it.

just some close ups of the background work. I've got one more coat of dark grey/black to go on over most of the entire background and it's done. Should be done today. Up along the back wall where there is a ledge on top of the new concrete blocks of the tank wall I'm going to have a ton of plants. Some live, some fake. I really want to put orchids up there. They should do well in the humidity. The idea being to make it look like a river bank.

oh, and some of the spots are still wet. Hence the dark spots.

here you can see that I built a panel of foam/concrete on an angle accross the back corner where the overflow is to hide the pump and plumbing up to the filters. Theres an opening at the bottom that I'm going to "screen" in. Should prevent clogging and hide all the guts of the system.

just looking at the back wall where the build out is. I'm going to have some heafty drift wood branches running up the corners of the build out to hide the fact that it is "built out".

more of an overall of the bkg.

whatever... you get the idea.

yup. good to go. I actually patched everything and filled it again to test. It sat full for 4 days. No wet spots on the outside at all.
